Bethany Murphy discovered a love of water late in life. It was on a snorkeling trip to the Arabian Sea, where she experienced crystal-clear water teaming with life and color. She then decided she would be a scuba diver and has loved the water ever since.

Bethany spent three years living in Saudi Arabia, where she learned to swim and scuba dive before deciding to share her love of the water here in Louisiana at Swim-Smart. Bethany lives with her husband, three children, two cats and a bearded dragon. Remember, you’re never too old to learn how to swim!
