Dates and Times
The course takes three days. Times are usually:
- Friday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- Saturday 9:00 am to 7:45 pm
- Sunday: 9:00 am to 7:45 pm
Regularly scheduled course start dates include;

- Friday, May 14, 2027
- Friday, May 28, 2027
- Friday, June 4, 2027
Prerequisites
- Be at least 15 years old
- Be able to pass the watermanship assessment
Price includes
$325 per student includes;
- Online and in-person training
- Rescue hip pack with gloves
- Resuscitation mask
- Whistle
About
The American Red Cross Lifeguard course provides students with the knowledge and skills to:
- Prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies.
- Provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies.
- Treat injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over.
